Slate.org is a free platform for school counselors, independent counselors, community-based organizations, and students with a commitment to supporting and promoting access to education. We hope this free platform helps keep you and your counselor(s) on the same page as you complete your college applications.
Through Slate.org, you can do the following:
- Update your contact information and academic profile
- Manage your email and privacy preferences
- Invite counselors to view your application statuses and decisions
- Register for college visits
- Sync your Slate.org calendar with external calendars
We're here to provide a conduit for sharing data, not to sell it. Your student data will never be bought or sold. Slate.org is free, and will forever remain free for all parties.

Manage Your Profile
In Slate.org you can view your personal and academic information, including the following:
|Personal Profile||Academic Profile|
|Date of birth||Dates attended|
|Email address||Expected graduation date|
|Phone number||Class rank|
|Anticipated term of entry||GPA|
To edit any of the information found here, simply click the pencil icon in the top-right corner.
Note that you can enter your class rank and GPA here, but they are verified on the other end by your counselor. Once you enter it, it appears as "self-reported," but once confirmed by your counselor, it will appear as "verified."
Your school counselors will automatically have access. However, if you work with any other independent counselors or community-based organizations, you can invite them here.
Add their first name, last name, email address, and phone number. They will get an alert that a student has invited them to their Slate.org account.
Need to remove someone? Just click their name and Revoke Access.
