Slate has two robust management tools, Scheduler and Events, for one-on-one meetings and large group events, respectively. Meetings and events that appear in schedules frequently, like tutoring sessions and advisement or coaching appointments, can be created quickly from templates. Create externally-facing landing pages to let students check availability and register for events.

Scheduler is ideal for one-on-one appointments or interviews. The example opposite shows registration for an advisement appointment, requiring minimal information from the registrant, but enough to match to the appropriate record in the system:

Advising Session

When a student registers or attends an appointment or event, the interaction is automatically displayed and accessible in the timeline on the student record. Internal fields can be added to an event or interview form for comments or notes to be made administratively, and available for later access.
