Adding Login Instructions

To add custom login instructions, click "Edit" in the top right corner of a portal. Users will see a "Login Instructions" editor to add custom text, images, and formatting.

The instructions entered in the editor will appear when accessing the portal URL.

Adding Password Reset Instructions

To add custom password reset instructions, click "Edit" in the top right corner of a portal. Users will see a "Password Reset Instructions" editor to add custom text, images, and formatting. Custom password reset instructions are only available for portals with a Dataset security type.

The instructions entered in the editor will appear after a user clicks the "Forgot Your Password" link on the portal login page.

Creating a Password Reset Email in Deliver

You must create a new Deliver email directing users to their appropriate dataset portal password reset screen. Otherwise, they will receive the default system email, and the reset link provided will not work.

To create a dataset record account password reset mailing:

1. Click Deliver.

2. Click New Mailing.

3. Enter the following configurations:

   • Name: Dataset Password Reset

   • Folder: System

   • Template: Dataset Record Account Password Reset

   • User: Select the appropriate user account

   • Method: Email

   • Template: Leave blank

   • UTM Tracking: Leave disabled

4. Click Save.
