In addition to the Slate standard sign-in process, applicants and form registrants can create an account or log in to Slate using their Google, Facebook, and LinkedIn credentials. Using social media accounts as a log-in option provides a simplified, fast, and convenient experience for applicants and form registrants.
Logging in with a social media account is optional and can be added to a Slate database using the Configuration Keys tool.
Enable Social Login
Select Database on the top navigation bar and select Configuration Keys.
Select Insert.
Enter the following configuration key setting:
Key - Social Login - Facebook (0 = Disable, 1=Enable)
Value - 1
To disable Social Login, change the value from 1 to 0.
Repeat steps 2 and 3 to add the additional Social Login options:
Changes to the configuration keys may take up to 15 minutes to be reflected across all web nodes.
Applicant Experience
When applicants are prompted to log in to their account, either to access a log-in required form, their application, or applicant status page, they will now see the Social Login options available.
