Some users may wish to include a link to an outside resource within an interaction or activity for quick access. This can be done by adding a web address to any of the following within the interaction or activity:
Public Comments
Private Comments
Subject
Adding an Active Link in an Interaction
To include an active link with an interaction on a person record:
Within a person record, go to the Timeline tab.
Select Interactions.
Select New Interaction.
Select an Interaction Code (and Subcode if desired).
Insert the URL within the Subject, Private Comments or Public Comments sections. Make sure that the URL begins with the correct https:// or http:// for the intended linked page.
Tip
Slate adds links in alphabetical order to the Links section once saved.
Adding an Active Link in an Activity
To include an active link with an activity on an application record:
Within an application tab on a record, navigate to the Activities section.
Click New Activity.
Select an Activity Code (and Subcode if desired).
Insert the link URL within the Subject, Private Comments or Public Comments sections. Make sure that the URL begins with the correct https:// or http:// for the intended linked page.
Tip
Slate adds links in alphabetical order to the Links section once saved.
