Description

Page Title (optional) / Template Name

Give the slot or template a descriptive name. This title will appear on the public registration page.

Folder

Important: Create a folder for event templates and events. Folders are critical! Events will be publicized based on folder names. Be sure to provide clear and informative folder names (e.g., “Campus Tours”).

Status

When creating a new template, set status to Active or Inactive. When creating new events, an Active or Inactive status will be inherited from the template. When creating a new event, set status to reflect whether the event is Confirmed/Active, Tentative, Cancelled, or Declined.

Recurrence

If creating more than one event, click the Recurrence box.

Date

(For Date Range): Select start and end date of the slots. (For times): Manually enter the start times of each individual slot. Enter each time on a different line. (For duration): Select the duration allotted for each slot.

Slots/Time

Set the number of open slots allotted per time.

Deadline

Provide a deadline, if required.

Activation Date/Time

Provide an activation date/time, if required. If no activation date/time is provided, registrants will be able to submit the form upon marking the status as confirmed/active and publishing the link externally.

Timezone

The Timezone setting Autodetect from Location will use the information entered on the Location tab to determine the timezone of event.

Privacy

Check this setting if the event should not be available on public landing pages.

User

This will default to User's name but may be changed to another user.

User 2

Allows a second user to be added to a slot or set of slots.

Trip

Associate a slot or set of slots with a particular Trip created using Trips.

Template

Assign new slot/slots to a template. New slots associated with a template will inherit the Template's status, location, and any communications.

Admin Notify Email

To notify a particular staff member every time a new registration for the event is received, enter an email address into this field. Note: Only one email address may be entered.

Add a related record(s) from available datasets.

Online Interview

If hosting an online slot through Slate's Share webinar platform, check that the event is an Online Interview.

Preserve Formatting

All addresses are sent to the USPS for validation and standardization. Check this box to prevent the address from being updated. This is generally useful for addresses where the USPS abbreviates a city name, or if a building name or room number information should be included.
